The folk group “CIULEANDRA” from Arges County, Romania, has been continuing its work of valuing the folklore since 1972. Our ensemble is made up of 80 people: dancers, singers and players of traditional folk instruments.

Our programme contains representative’s songs (“doinas”, ancient ballads). Our instrumental players are wonderful.

The show we are going to perform for you is called “my beloved village” and it is made up with representative’s dances and songs for our region as well as for other Romanian’ s areas such as Moldavia, Transilvania, Maramures, Muntenia and Oltenia. Our performance was imposed on the greatest stages of our country as well abroad:
